This is where it all started with WAT. Our classic all-women, meticulous, pre-scheduled trips have a fierce feminine thread woven throughout. Karen is a well-known and respected luxury travel and lifestyle writer with a sense of humor, a wicked sense of adventure, and an insatiable appetite for off-the-beaten-path endeavors.
As an award-winning playwright and international comedian, Karen hit her international stride twenty years ago. She entertained US troops and audiences at clubs, colleges, and corporate events, as well as at theaters and comedy festivals worldwide.
Ten years later, she ended up on Hollywood’s raging red carpet, interviewing the celeb set and writing about trends in travel, fashion, beauty, food & wine, and the Hollywood lifestyle.
Since then, she has traveled to seven continents and 70+ countries as a travel writer and photographer. Her dynamic and entertaining stories have appeared in Vogue, Architectural Digest, Robb Report, American Way, and Hemispheres Magazine, among others.
She is a true professional passionate about travel, women's empowerment, and hilarious, heart-wrenching storytelling.
